Biographies
Edward Chan
Pharmacist-in-Charge
Edward Chan is our top pharmacist. He has a degree in pharmacy from Oregon State University. Ed is a licensed pharmacist in both California and Oregon. He has thirty years of experience with the Payless and Rite-Aid companies. Ed has been our Pharmacist-in-Charge here at Gold Coast Medical for the past ten years.
Anthony Philips
Pharmacy Manager
Anthony Philips started his career with a chain pharmacy where he became a Registered Pharmacy Technician. In 2000 he ventured into the medical field coordinating an indigent patient program that provides medication for uninsured patients at a non-profit clinic. There he helped establish a harm reduction program for IV drug users that is still in operation. Anthony returned to pharmacy, becoming a Certified Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacy supervisor, and expanding his knowledge with PCCA compounding training in 2006. Anthony has also worked as a free lance pharmacy operations consultant and a credentialed pharmacy technician instructor. He holds multiple degrees in Business Administration with concentrations in Healthcare Administration and Organization Psychology and Development from AIU. Anthony's medical and pharmaceutical experience is put to perfect use here at Gold Coast Medical, where our focus is on patient care and progressive health solutions.
Donald T. Hardy
Pharmacist
Don Hardy graduated from The School of Pharmacy at Washington State University and has practiced as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of California since 1961. He has worked at a number of drug stores in the local area and has been employed at Gold Coast Medical Services for the last ten years.
